One day we’ll own the dawn : A sad poem about Gaza
One day we'll own the dawn
One day we will own the dawn
You will see the midday will also belong to us
Maybe now the tide is little rough
Waves are being petty tough
But who cares?
You’ll see-
Things will change
One day the air will come into our range
Upper clouds will cheer; twilights will whisper
You’ll see, O dear
Perhaps now our sky is overcast with smoky dust
Because our woes aren’t weatherized, we turned into rust
But you will see things will change
One day we will own a prism
Restless clouds will float over our horizon
Innumerable guest birds will fly past this land
For humanity, we will be a noble brand
One day here spring will come with full rhythm
Breeze will flow with its own form
Maybe now the wind is against our norm
Because of a cosmic whim,
we are against the course of the stream
That is why, none of our calls reaches the upper hall
But you will see things will change
One day we will own these tides after all the fights
Who will dare to hold our golden ride?
You will see-
We will own all the waves of the Mediterranean sea
You will see-
One day we will own the dawn
