I’m a peace peddler: A rousing poem about War & peace

by | Nov 22, 2023 | Poetry for Peace

I am a peace peddler

I am a peace peddler

Today, a new sun has risen at the horizon of the east

I am a new arrival among all political beasts

Call me a toddler

But I am a peace peddler

Watch your land, O all warmongers!

Serenity is my flag

I’ve come here without any country and map

All land is my land

Love is my only brand

I carry some candles in my hands

You can call me a toddler

But I am a peace peddler

For brutality and bloodshed, I am a threat

For justice and peace, I am a breeze

Don’t worry, O calm ridge!

I am here to repair all wounded layers

If cruelty hurts you too hard, I am here as a guard

If aggression robs your passion, I am here as a protection

All nation is my nation

All race is my race

Humanity is my only trace

Call me a toddler

But I am a peace peddler
