Dear God: A sad poem about Gaza and Palestine
Dear God
Dear god, here we are suffering a lot
Foul storms often attack our dorms
Wild smokes cover our sky and rob our mists
Are you aware about all these beasts?
We know you are all seer
No doubt about your engine and gear
But we wonder about all those thunders-
When innocent are killed in the battle fields
When cruelty dominates this meadow
Are you aware about all these ghosts and shadows?
We know you are all knower
We never doubt about your resilience and power
We are only troubled about all those horrors-
Where an oppressed man lament
for untold suffering and torment
Where a poor woman mourns for losing her barn
Where a helpless child cries
for the freedom of liberty and peace
Are you aware about all these?
We know you are all compassionate and merciful
There is no doubt about your tenderness tool
You are the great ocean of all love and softness
We are just shocked seeing some dreadful fogs-
Which are evil and bring us deadly havocs
Which cause calamities and reduce us to rubbles
Are you aware about all these troubles?
